The Salmon
A fish restaurant keeping Scandinavian culture alive in Oslo. The brand draws on Viking heritage — a warrior riding a salmon becomes the mascot, bold and unmistakably Norse. Warm terracotta meets aged cream for a palette that feels rooted in the fjord.

The mascot
The Viking warrior on a salmon started as a sketch on a napkin — the idea that the restaurant isn’t just serving fish, it’s celebrating a culture built around the sea. Badge and combination mark give flexibility across signage, ceramics and print.

In place
Terracotta #C8634A and aged cream #F5EFE0, carried with a serif wordmark onto signage, ceramics and kitchenware. The palette is borrowed from the fjord itself.

In motion
From the fjord to the plate, from the mascot to the menu: a Scandinavian fish restaurant that wears its Viking roots proudly.
